What kind of astrology do you practice?

I’m trained in traditional and Hellenistic astrology, so there’s a lot of technique behind the way I read a chart. My background in Jungian psychology also shapes my work, bringing in a symbolic and reflective lens. I don’t read charts as fixed fate or simple personality descriptions. I’m more interested in what the chart can reveal about your karmic patterns, timing, relationships, and the larger transitions unfolding in your life.

Do I need to know my exact birth time?

An exact birth time is helpful because it gives a more precise rising sign and house placements. If you don’t know your birth time, we can still work with your chart, but some areas may be interpreted more generally.

What can I ask about in a reading?

You can bring questions about relationships, career, creativity, family patterns, life transitions, timing, purpose, or anything you’re currently trying to understand. You don’t need to have a perfect question before booking.

Is an astrology reading predictive?

Astrology can speak to timing, themes, and cycles, but I don’t approach it as a fixed prediction of the future. I see it as a tool for reflection, perspective, and deeper self-understanding.

Can astrology help with relationships?

Yes. Relationship astrology can offer insight into communication styles, emotional needs, attraction, tension, compatibility, and recurring patterns between people. It can be useful for romantic relationships, friendships, family dynamics, and creative or professional partnerships.

What happens at an astrology party?

Astrology parties are customized depending on the size and style of your event. They may include short mini-readings, birth chart highlights, group discussion, or a fun introduction to signs, planets, and relationship dynamics.

Are online astrology readings effective?

Yes. Online readings can be just as meaningful as in-person sessions, and many clients like being able to meet from the comfort of home. One benefit of an online reading is that the session is video recorded, so you can see the chart we’re discussing as you listen back. In-person readings are audio recorded only.

Recordings are offered as a courtesy, and while I do my best to make sure everything works smoothly, I do not re-record sessions if there is a technical issue with the recording.

Do you work with beginners?

Yes. You don’t need to know anything about astrology before your session. I explain the chart in clear, accessible language and connect the symbolism to real-life themes and experiences.

I’m already familiar with astrology. Can we go deeper into specific techniques?

Yes. If you’re a more advanced student of astrology, I’m happy to go deeper with you. I always begin with the birth chart as the foundation, and from there we can move into predictive work, timing techniques, relationship charts, or more specialized methods.

If there’s a particular Hellenistic or traditional technique you’d like me to consider, please let me know before the reading so I can prepare for it. In additional to the typical transit predictive reading, I’m trained in solar return charts, monthly return charts, profections, zodiacal releasing, circumambulation of the bounds, firdaria, decans (with associated Tarot correspondences), Sabian Symbols, dodecatemoria, and the Vedic nakshatra system. I also work with synastry, composite charts, Davison relationship charts, and other relationship techniques.

How should I prepare for a reading?

If possible, gather your birth date, birth time, and birth location before the session. You’ll also receive a form where you can share what’s currently happening in your life, along with any questions, themes, or areas you’d like to explore. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with — I don’t push for details, but the more context you provide, the deeper and more tailored the reading can be.
